Our Mission

We are a hobby toy store based in the Toronto area with the mission of bringing quality collectibles and merchandise goods to our customers. We carry a wide range of anime merchandise, video game merchandise, board game and jigsaw puzzle.

We are committed to offering you authentic hobby toys that are richly cultured. You can find various anime figures like Banpresto, Figma, Nendoroid, and scale figures. Or beautifully crafted jigsaw puzzles from Cobble Hills, Eurographics, and Clementoni. We also carry a variety of board games, and video game-related merchandise.

No matter where your passion lies, we trust there is something on our shelves that will meet your demand for entertainment.

How It All Begins

The name of our store comes from a heartwarming memory that our founder shared. A while ago, when the world was still paused, he was working as a staff member at a local school. Due to restrictions, there were no human interactions in his workplace. His day was filled with covered faces, muffled voices and looks of fear. Things were tough for everyone, and his own anxiety just seemed too insignificant to be shared.

One day, he was stopped by a boy when he was on his way out. “Is that a Demon Slayer keychain?” the boy asked. He looked in his hand, the keychain was attached to his car key. It was an anime merch he had brought when he visited Japan years ago. It always reminds him of the good times. He nodded to the boy. “I love Demon Slayer,” the boy said, “I didn’t know you were a fan too!” They then had a very passionate conversation about their mutual love for anime. “You know what? I have the full costume of Tanjiro! I will wear it to school tomorrow. Come and see me. I am going to be so cool!” He laughed happily and promised he would come and see the boy’s costume.

However, the school was temporarily shut down the next day. Uncertainty was a certainty at that time. After almost a month of isolation, staff were permitted to return to school. He went to work with a heavy heart and didn’t know what to expect. During lunchtime, he was stopped again by the same boy. “Look at my costume, I told you I am going to be so cool!” the boy said, “It got a bit of wrinkle on it. That is because I didn’t know when we were going to come back, so I took it out every night and folded it back every morning.” He stood there nodding while the boy talked, overwhelmed by something wonderful. It was a magical moment, the world had brightened up for a while. When they parted, he decided to give his keychain to the boy as a reward for keeping their promise. “Thank you,” he said to the boy, “please take good care of it.”

When asked later if it was a hard decision to give out something that held good memories, our founder replied, “No. It has served its purpose. It became a token of wonderful wishes.” That is what we are trying to do here. Passing around tokens of wonderful wishes, and hope they warms someone’s heart.

Oh, yes, the origin of our name. Well, our founder said he and the boy were both Harry Potter fans and Sirius Black was their favourite character.
